Join us for our annual Eggstra Special Easter Event!
Hop on over to Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield on Saturday 19th April, from 11am to 2pm, for a fun-filled family day out at our Eggstra Special Easter Event! With plenty of activities designed for younger children, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Easter while supporting the animals in our care.
Children can enjoy an exciting Easter egg hunt, explore activity tables, whilst you try your luck at our tombola. There will also be stalls full of goodies, refreshments, and a fantastic selection of pre-loved children’s toys and books available to buy - great for picking up a bargain while helping a great cause.
Entry is just £2 per child, which includes access to the egg hunt and activity tables. Every penny raised goes towards providing love and care for the animals at Danaher Animal Home. So, bring the whole family along for a day of Easter fun and make a real difference to our furry friends. We can’t wait to see you there!
Get ready for a tail-wagging day out as Danaher Animal Home’s much-loved annual Fun Dog Walk returns on Sunday 18th May, starting at 10:30am! Held in the beautiful surroundings of Wethersfield, this heart-warming event is the perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors with your four-legged friends all while supporting a fantastic cause. Entry is just £5 per dog, and all friendly dogs are welcome to join the fun!
This year’s walk is extra special, with the choice of a 2km or 5km route through the stunning Essex countryside. The 2km walk is ideal for families with young children or those who prefer a shorter stroll, while the 5km option offers a bit more adventure for active dogs and their humans. After the walk, head back to Danaher for a delicious BBQ and refreshments, where you can relax and mingle with fellow dog lovers. It’s a fantastic day out for the whole family, full of wagging tails, happy faces, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see you there!
