Join us for our annual Eggstra Special Easter Event — a joyful family day out in support of the animals at Danaher Animal Home!
Hop on over to Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield on Saturday 4th 2026 (11am–2pm) for an Easter celebration packed with fun for younger children. It’s the perfect way to make special memories while giving back to a great cause.
What’s Included?
For just £5 per child, your little ones will enjoy:
🐰 Entry to our Easter egg hunt
🎨 Access to all of our activity tables
🎁 A fun-filled afternoon of Easter excitement
Plus, there will be plenty for the whole family to enjoy, including:
🍰 Delicious cakes and refreshments
🎟️ A chance to try your luck at our tombola
🐰 Time to see some of our residents (including our rabbit house!)
Every penny raised helps us provide love, care, and shelter for the animals who need us most. It truly is a perfect day for children and a wonderful way to support our furry friends at the same time.

On the 17th of May we are hosting our annual Dog Walk!
This day was a big success last year and we are so excited to be hosting this again!
There are two routes available, a 2K and a 5K. Both routes are led by staff, and some Danaher dogs!
We will also have a BBQ and refreshments after if you have worked up any appetite!
Please bring dog friendly dogs to avoid any altercation :)
This event is £5 per dog, and we are accepting payments on the day (cash and card) :)
