We’re looking to build meaningful partnerships with organisations that share our passion for animal welfare. Through your corporate social responsibility initiatives, your organisation can help us make a lasting difference to the hundreds of animals who come into our care each year.
Whether you choose to support us through a financial donation, provide essential goods or materials, or share your team’s time and expertise, every contribution plays an important part in helping us give animals the care, love and brighter futures they deserve.
Partnering with Danaher offers more than simply the opportunity to give back. It provides rewarding and memorable experiences for your organisation and your employees. We welcome your team to visit our centre, meet the animals they are helping to support, and see first-hand the positive impact their involvement is having.
Hear from our Gold Sponsors
We’re incredibly grateful to our Gold Sponsors for their continued support. Here’s what two of our valued sponsors have to say about their experience:
“We have loved being a Gold Sponsor for Danaher over the past year. The regular updates are wonderful to receive and really make you feel like you're making a genuine difference. The team keeps us informed about the kennel we sponsor and regularly features us on their social media channels. This has helped increase our business's visibility and introduced us to an audience we may not otherwise have reached. We've seen more engagement with our own social media through our connection with Danaher, and our regular customers enjoy hearing the updates we share about the dogs and the impact the charity is making. If you're considering sponsorship, I would highly recommend the Gold Package. Not only does it make a real difference to the charity and the dogs in their care, but it can also have a positive impact on your own business through increased exposure and community engagement.” - Leaders Estate Agent.
“As a sponsor of a kennel at Danaher animal home, it brings us so much pleasure to know we are helping the poor animals who are looking for their forever homes, the staff at Danaher do a fantastic job, this especially special to us as we were trusted with our dachshund coco." - Will and Sarah Parker (Thaxted Stoves)

When Paddington first arrived at Danaher Animal Home, it quickly became clear that something wasn't right. Despite his happy, affectionate personality, he was living with significant pain caused by severe hip osteoarthritis. Every step was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, and without specialist treatment, his quality of life would only continue to decline.
After veterinary assessments, it was confirmed that Paddington would need a Total Hip Replacement—a major orthopaedic procedure similar to the surgery many people have when arthritis becomes severe. During the operation, the head of the femur (the ball of the hip joint) and the acetabulum (the socket in the pelvis) would be replaced, removing the painful bone-on-bone contact that had been causing him so much discomfort.
Before he could undergo surgery, Paddington needed somewhere calm and comfortable to recover beforehand, so he went into a wonderful foster home where he could be cared for while preparations were made. Having a loving home environment made all the difference and ensured he was ready for the next stage of his journey.
The cost of the surgery was around £4,000, and as an independent charity, this simply wasn't something we could fund alone. We reached out to our incredible supporters, hoping to raise the money needed to give Paddington the chance of a pain-free future.
The response was nothing short of amazing.
Within an incredibly short space of time, our community came together and donated every penny needed. The speed and generosity of the appeal was overwhelming, and it was another reminder of how compassionate our supporters are. Because of you, Paddington was given the opportunity to have life-changing surgery.
Once everything was in place, it was time for the long journey to Taylor Veterinary Hospital for his operation. Craig, our Operational Supervisor, accompanied Paddington every step of the way.
Craig said:
"When I was asked to take Paddington for his first appointment at Taylor Vets in Brackley, I knew it was going to be quite a journey. His first visit was for X-rays and a pre-operation assessment.
From the moment we arrived, everyone fell in love with Paddington. He was so well behaved throughout the day, even though the pre-op assessment ended up taking most of it. Considering we had a 250-mile round trip, he couldn't have been any better.
Before we knew it, the big day had arrived for his operation. Once again, we made the 250-mile round trip to drop him off, ready for surgery the following day. Waiting for the phone call was nerve-racking, but thankfully I got the news that everything had gone well, and Paddington was ready to come home.
So, off I went on yet another 250-mile round trip to collect him. By then, I reckon I could have done the journey blindfolded! Thankfully, it was all worth it, and Paddington was back home where he belonged."
Throughout his stay, the team at Taylor Veterinary Hospital absolutely adored Paddington. He charmed everyone he met with his gentle nature and impeccable behaviour, and Craig received regular updates letting him know just how well Paddington was doing after his surgery.
The operation was a success.
Paddington's damaged hip has now been replaced, meaning the painful bone-on-bone contact has been eliminated. While many dogs only require one hip replacement, only time will tell whether Paddington may eventually need the second hip treated too. For now, the focus is on his recovery.
Like any major orthopaedic surgery, recovery will take time. Paddington will gradually rebuild his strength through carefully managed exercise, lots of rest, and regular check-ups. Every week will bring him another step closer to living the active, comfortable life he has always deserved.
Everyone at Danaher Animal Home is incredibly grateful to every single person who donated towards Paddington's surgery. Your kindness has given him something priceless—a future free from constant pain.
Thank you for believing in Paddington and making this life-changing operation possible. We cannot wait to share more updates as he continues his recovery and enjoys the happy, healthy life that every dog deserves. 💙
🎉 THE DANAHER DOG WALK WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! 🎉
Wow… where do we even begin! We are absolutely blown away by the incredible support shown at this year’s Danaher Dog Walk. Thanks to every single person who attended, donated, volunteered, shared our event, and cheered us on, we had a RECORD turnout and raised an amazing £1167.08 for the animals in our care! 🥹💖
We truly cannot thank everyone enough. The support from our community means the world to us, and events like this remind us just how many compassionate animal lovers are out there helping us continue the work we do every single day.
The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic from start to finish. We had wagging tails everywhere you looked, happy faces, lots of muddy paws, and so many lovely moments shared between dogs and their humans. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together for such a positive cause.
Both walking routes were absolutely brilliant, and we’re happy to report they were enjoyed by dogs and owners alike! Whether your pups were trotting proudly at the front, splashing about, making new furry friends, or simply enjoying all the extra treats and attention, it’s safe to say the doggos had the BEST time 🐶💕
A huge thank you also goes to everyone who helped organise the event behind the scenes, our volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the day, and everyone who contributed to the tombola, donations, and support. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
We are beyond grateful for the kindness and generosity shown, and every penny raised will go directly towards helping the animals in our care get the love, treatment, and second chances they deserve.
Thank you all again for making the Danaher Dog Walk such a memorable and successful day — we already can’t wait for the next one! 💖🐾
This National Pet Month, Danaher Animal Home is celebrating a heartwarming achievement after successfully rehoming 68 animals throughout April.
We are dedicated to rescuing and caring for vulnerable pets, and we found loving new homes for an incredible variety of animals over the month. Among those rehomed were 29 dogs, 24 cats, 9 rabbits, and 6 guinea pigs.
National Pet Month, celebrated every April in the UK, highlights the many benefits of pet ownership and encourages responsible pet care. For Danaher Animal Home, it also provided the perfect opportunity to shine a spotlight on the importance of adoption and the life-changing difference it can make for animals in need.
We are absolutely thrilled to have helped 68 animals find their forever homes during National Pet Month. Every adoption creates space for us to help even more animals in need, and we’re so grateful to everyone who chose to adopt this April.
The rehoming success reflects the hard work and dedication of Danaher Animal Home’s staff and volunteers, who work tirelessly to provide care, rehabilitation, and support for animals before they move on to their new families.
Each animal has their own story and so much love to give. By adopting, you’re not only gaining a loyal companion, but also giving an animal a second chance at life and this is why adopting is so special.
As National Pet Month comes to a close, we hope this milestone will inspire more people to support local rescue centres and consider adoption in the months ahead.
For more information about adopting, volunteering, or donating, look at our website or our social media pages.
Our Easter Event Was a Wonderful Success!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our Easter Event at Danaher Animal Home on the 5th of May. This year’s turnout was fantastic, and it was lovely to see so many people joining us for the day.
The Easter Egg Hunt was a big hit with the children, taking them on a fun route through the cattery, past the dog kennels, and finishing at the Meet and Greet area. There was also a busy arts and crafts table where little ones could get creative and make their own Easter-themed masterpieces.
Throughout the day, there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. Visitors tucked into a selection of delicious homemade cakes and savoury treats, while our raffles, tombolas, and competitions kept the excitement going. Our resident bunnies, Fluffy and Stormzy, were also there to meet guests and soak up lots of well-deserved attention—we hope you enjoyed spending time with them!
Thanks to your incredible support, we raised an amazing £900. We’re so grateful to everyone who attended, as well as to our dedicated staff and volunteers who worked hard to make the event such a success.
We have lots more exciting events coming up, including our Danaher Dog Walk on Sunday, 17th May—we’d love to see you there!
