Meet our handsome chap, Oatly! 🐾 He’s fresh-faced, full of personality, and ready to find his loving forever family. ❤️
Oatly came into our care after being found wandering the streets as a stray. It took him a little while to find his feet, but he has absolutely blossomed into the best boy! He’s super social, loves being involved in everything, and is happiest when he’s surrounded by people and other dogs.
He’s been on a couple of days out and has loved every minute of meeting new people and dogs. As Oatly was a stray, we don’t know much about his life before coming into our care, so his new family will need to be prepared that he may need some toilet training and a little refresher when it comes to his house manners.
Due to his friendly and playful nature, Oatly can live with children aged 12+ who have experience around dogs and understand that he can have moments where he gets very excited and playful!
Oatly would also absolutely love a canine friend. He particularly enjoys the company of female dogs and would love someone he can have a good old-fashioned rough and tumble with! That said, simply having another dog around also does wonders for Oatly’s confidence, so a home with a friendly resident dog would be ideal. 🐶💕
Ideally, Oatly is looking for a home with previous breed experience. However, if you’ve fallen for this lovely boy, we’d encourage you to do some research into lurchers and their personalities, quirks and needs to make sure he’s the right match for you.
