Nellie’s New Beginning 🐾
Nellie’s journey to us began in very sad circumstances. When she first arrived, it was clear that life hadn’t always been kind to her. She was unsure of the world around her and needed time, patience, and gentle care to start feeling safe again.
Over time, Nellie has begun to show us the wonderful dog she truly is. Once she gets to know you, her goofy and affectionate personality shines through. She absolutely loves a cuddle and will happily lean into you for comfort and attention — a true gentle giant with so much love to give.
Nellie is now ready to find her perfect forever home. She would do best in a quiet, adult-only household where she can continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. She will need to be the only dog in the home and would benefit from an experienced owner, ideally someone with Great Dane experience who understands the needs of this incredible breed.
Nellie still needs some support with socialising, so her new family will need to feel confident continuing this work and helping her navigate the world safely and positively. With the right guidance, patience, and understanding, we know Nellie will continue to blossom.
Despite everything she’s been through, Nellie’s loving nature is still there, just waiting for the right people to bring it out. She has so much love, loyalty, and joy to give — and we can’t wait for her to finally find the special home she truly deserves.
