This March, the team at Danaher Animal Home are taking on a BIG challenge for our animals!
On Monday 23rd March, 8am–4pm, our staff and volunteers will be walking a combined 50 miles in just one day on walking pads in our reception for our ‘Step Into Spring’ fundraiser.
Inspired by the RSPCA Walk 50 Miles in March campaign (but doing it the Danaher way) we’re aiming to smash 50 miles in a single day!
This challenge will help us continue providing vital care, medical treatment, warmth and love to every animal who comes through our doors before finding their forever home.
Last year we rehomed over 900 animals, and this year we expect to rehome more than 1,000. If we reach our £1,000 goal, that’s £1 going towards every animal we rehome in 2026.
