Meet Wonder 💛
At just one year old, Wonder has already had a little more change in her life than any young dog should. Sadly, through no fault of her own, she has found herself back in our care after her owner had to go into hospital and could no longer look after her.
Despite everything, Wonder is exactly what her name suggests — a truly wonderful little soul.
When you first meet her, she can be a little shy. The world can feel a bit big and overwhelming sometimes, so she just needs a little patience and kindness while she figures you out. But once Wonder learns that you’re safe and that she can trust you, something really special happens…
She blossoms.
The shy girl turns into the most affectionate, cuddly companion you could imagine. She loves being close to her people and will happily soak up all the fuss and gentle attention you’re willing to give.
One thing that makes Wonder’s tail wag more than anything else is other dogs. She absolutely adores them and would thrive in a home where she has a confident doggy friend to show her the ropes and help her continue building her confidence.
Because she can be a sensitive girl, Wonder is looking for a calm, understanding home with experienced owners who have previously worked with nervous dogs. She can live with older children aged 16+ who will respect her space while she settles in.
With the right family, a bit of patience, and lots of love, Wonder will repay you tenfold with loyalty, cuddles, and the quiet joy of watching a shy dog learn that the world can be a safe and happy place.
Wonder just needs someone to see the beautiful dog she truly is — and give her the second chance she deserves. 🐾
