Handsome Monty is now up and ready to find his new home!
this stunning chap came to us nervous and overwhelmed but slowly day by day he’s coming out of his shell and now his cheeky playful side is on full show! He was originally a stray so we don’t have any information on where he has lived before.
affectionate and friendly, he is quickly becoming a bit of a social butterfly when it comes to meeting people, and loves to strut his stuff around site and making new friends every day. He is shy but not worried by new people, his trust and resilience is inspiring!
despite his considerable size he walks really well on the lead! Don’t get me wrong, he can be strong when he wants to be but generally walks with him are a pleasure!
Monty seems to generally like other dogs but can be a bit unsure when first meeting them. He tends to ignore other dogs out on walks, but has made a few canine friends who he loves to play next to in our enclosed areas. He would prefer his own space in the home but would love to continue his socialisation out on walks!
You’ve probably noticed Monty is missing his ears. This is a sad and painful procedure that he has had to endure in the past. he has clearly not had a great start in life but we are determined to find him the best forever home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of it.
we are looking for experienced owners, who have had a cane corso before and are happy with the quirks they present and handling a larger breed. Monty is going to make someone very happy and give them a loyal and affectionate companion.
