Meet Minnie, a beautiful 7-year-old Chow Chow who has been through a lot in her life and is now ready for the chapter she truly deserves. ❤️
When Minnie first arrived in our care, she was incredibly shut down. She didn’t want to make friends, kept herself to herself, and it was clear that life had left her feeling unsure of the world around her.
But just look at her now! 🥹
It has been amazing to watch Minnie come such a long way during her time with us. Little by little, she has learned to trust, and in doing so, she has shown us the most loving and affectionate personality. Minnie absolutely adores having a fuss made of her and is happiest when she is getting plenty of attention from her favourite people.
Every day, she shows us a little more of herself — her loving, playful and wonderfully cheeky side. We truly believe that there is so much more of Minnie waiting to blossom once she has a family of her own who can give her the time, patience and love she deserves. ❤️
Minnie can live with older children who have some knowledge and understanding of the Chow Chow breed and appreciate their unique personalities and needs.
She is also dog friendly, but Minnie is quite happy keeping herself to herself at times. For this reason, we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, while still having the opportunity to socialise with other dogs when out and about.
What Minnie really wants is to be the centre of attention in her new family’s life — somewhere she can feel safe, loved and cherished, and where she can finally enjoy being the happy, affectionate girl she has shown us she can be. 🥰
After everything she has been through, Minnie deserves a family who will see the wonderful dog hiding behind her difficult past and give her the chance to shine.
