Meet our special boy Billy!
Billy arrived with us after a rough start in life. He had some injuries, one of them resulting in him needing to have his tail amputated. His physical wounds have all long healed now but his emotional scars stick with him. Because of his past, Billy has some trouble trusting humans and can take a little longer to get to know new people.
Billy has been a long time resident of Danaher and has built a strong circle of friends amongst both staff and volunteers! His wiggly bum and lovable personality make him a favorite with the team. He is so affectionate and absolutely loves a cuddle at bed time!
Billy is not a fan of other dogs so needs to be the only animal in the home. Unfortunately we know that Billy can snap if other dogs get too close so he will need to be muzzled out on walks. That's ok though, because he doesn't mind wearing it and we know it keeps him safe.
Billy is looking for a home that has experience with English Bull terriers, but also with anxious or reactive dogs. Billy is the sweetest boy and deserves a second chance. We are looking for new owners that have the patience and love to bring him out of his shell and to prove to him that people are not all that bad and can be trusted again.
Billy loves to be out and about and have a roll in the grass! But his favourite thing in the world is having a fuss and he just cant wait to be cuddled up on the sofa with you!
