This fluffy and handsome little boy is Teddy - he was signed over into our care and came into us needing a good groom, treatment and most importantly lots of TLC.
Teddy had sore itchy skin which we are now treating and trialling medication to help him feel more comfortable. His overgrown nails have been cut and his coat has been freshen up - already he’s feeling a lot better!
Teddy is a shy soul when it comes to meeting people - he needs slow introductions and time to trust and warm up to you. Because of his nervousness we are looking for a quiet adult only home with an adopter who is experienced in dealing with nervous dogs to bring out the best in Teddy and help him increase his confidence.
Teddy enjoys a quiet life by your side - whether that’s lovely long walks, laying by your side on a sofa or sitting down relaxing in the garden.
He would prefer a less busy home as he will find lots of visitors overwhelming and scary - but with the odd visitor he will benefit from his own space space to go to.
Teddy is nervous around other dogs - but we are working on his confidence around them. We do walk with other dogs where he feels more confident around calm quiet dogs — bouncy playful dogs worry him - so he does need to be the only dog in the home.
This sweet boy has had a rough start, and it shows in his health and behaviour - can you give Teddy a second chance at a new life full of love and support? 💙
