Meet our beautiful little girl, Betty.
We know very little about Betty’s past, but it’s clear that life hasn’t always been kind to her. Something in her journey has left her feeling a little shy and unsure of the world around her.
When you first meet Betty, you see a gentle soul who is still learning that people can be safe and that love can be hers too. She can be submissive and a little worried at times, but behind those cautious eyes is the sweetest, softest nature you could ever hope to find.
Betty is such a loving girl. Once she feels safe, you begin to see glimpses of the happy puppy she should have always been — a young dog who simply wants to be loved, protected, and part of a family.
The outside world can still feel a little big and overwhelming for her. Things like traffic can make her nervous, so Betty will need a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to grow in confidence.
What truly helps Betty feel brave though, is other dogs. Around them, you see her light up. She loves to run, play, and enjoy their company, and they help her feel much more secure. For this reason, we would happily consider a home with the right canine friend for her.
Betty is only 10 months old. She should have a whole lifetime of adventures, love, and happiness ahead of her. Right now, she just needs someone to believe in her and give her the chance she’s been waiting for.
