At just 8 months old, Smokey is already something of a mystery, wrapped in silky black fur and a fluffy tail that’s just as dramatic as his expressions. He’s a semi-longhaired charmer who came into our care through no fault of his own, simply looking for a fresh start and a little love.
When Smokey first arrived, he was a bit unsure of the world around him. Big changes can be scary for a young cat! But true to his curious nature, it didn’t take long before he was peeking out from under his castle, watching staff and volunteers go about their day with those wide, thoughtful eyes.
Smokey has his favourite spot, a cosy shelf where he can stretch out, lounge like a king, and keep an eye on things. He enjoys gentle fuss and quiet company, and while he might not dive headfirst into your lap (yet), he’s got a soft spot for kind words, chin rubs, and the occasional treat.
What Smokey is really looking for now is a loving forever home where he can blossom. A calm environment with patient humans who’ll give him the time and space to grow into the confident, playful companion we know he’s meant to be.
With the right people by his side, there’s no doubt Smokey will shine and bring a whole lot of love, laughter, and fluffy cuddles into their lives. He’s ready for his happily ever after.
