Keanu hasn’t had the easiest start. She came into our care after being abandoned, in a neglected and poor body condition. It’s clear that life hasn’t always been kind to her, but despite everything she’s been through, Keanu’s gentle and loving nature still shines through.
With plenty of care, patience, and a good diet, Keanu has slowly begun to recover. Watching her transform back into a healthy, happy girl has been incredibly special — but what she needs most now is a home where she will never be let down again.
Keanu enjoys socialising with other dogs out on walks, but she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. After everything she’s been through, she truly deserves to feel like someone’s whole world.
She really is a gentle giant. Keanu doesn’t quite realise just how big she is and will happily climb onto your lap, leaning into you for cuddles, fuss, and reassurance. It’s her way of showing just how much she loves being close to her people.
On walks she can be strong on the lead at times, so she’ll need someone confident who can manage her strength. Someone who understands and loves big breeds would be perfect for her.
More than anything, Keanu just wants a family who will promise never to give up on her and a home full of love, patience, and warmth where she can finally feel safe.
