Meet Charlotte!
Charlotte has come such a long way since arriving with us! Initially unsure of lead walks, new surroundings and the big wide world, she has grown in confidence and now shows us more and more of her wonderful personality every day.
Once Charlotte feels comfortable, she is full of love, character and energy! She is a lively girl who loves being on the go and will thrive with a family who can enjoy adventures with her.
Charlotte is still finding her feet when it comes to meeting some new people and other dogs, so she will need an experienced adopter, ideally someone familiar with rescue dogs, who understands that settling into a new home takes time. She may initially feel unsure in a new house and on unfamiliar walking routes, even though she has become confident in our home environment here.
With patience, encouragement and plenty of positive experiences, we believe Charlotte will continue to blossom.
A secure private garden is essential for Charlotte, giving her a safe space to run, play and let off steam. Due to her breed, lack of recall and nervousness around some people and dogs, she cannot be safely off lead in public.
Charlotte would also benefit from an experienced owner who can help her build confidence around other dogs. She can be strong on the lead when she becomes unsure or excited, so she will need someone confident and capable of managing her safely.
Charlotte has so much love and personality waiting to shine. She just needs someone who will give her the time, patience and understanding to settle, trust and truly become herself.
