Meet handsome boy Rocky!
Rocky arrived a little unsure and has spent a lot of his young life being passed from pillar to post but now he has found his way here and we are committed to finding him the perfect forever home he deserves!
A gentle giant, Rocky is strong on the lead so is looking for a family that are used to larger dogs and feel up for the challenge of loose lead training! He has learnt to wear a halti here which helps but will benefit from some continued training in the home.
Rockys mix of breeds means he has plenty of energy! But also knows how to settle. He absolutely loves being around people so is at his happiest in our indoor spaces where he feels a little bit more ‘at home’. When he spends time with his handlers in these areas he is quick to lay down with a sigh and is happy to just be with you.
Rocky has shown some friendly behaviour towards dogs but is sometimes unsure of how to make friends politely! Because of this he is looking to be the only dog in the home. He is super friendly with people however and isn’t actually as bouncy as you might think!
we think Rocky is going to make a really loving and loyal companion for the family that love a big dog and are happy to work with his strength!
