Meet Oscar
Oscar hasn’t had the easiest start in life, and it shows. He’s a cat who’s learned to be cautious, and he needs a special kind of home to help him feel safe again.
Oscar isn’t ready for cuddles or close contact he prefers a hands-off approach for now. Because of this, he’s best suited to a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He needs someone with experience and understanding of cats who can be a bit temperamental.
What helps Oscar come out of his shell? Treats and play. While he may not want to be touched, he does enjoy interactive toys and tasty snacks. These are great ways to connect with him while still respecting his boundaries.
Oscar’s ideal home is indoors, calm, and filled with patience. He needs time to adjust, and someone who’s willing to let him set the pace.
He may not be your typical affectionate cat but for the right person, Oscar could become a deeply rewarding companion.
