Ever wondered what a Corgi × Jack Russell looks like? Well, meet Sparky – and that’s exactly what he is!
Sparky came into our care following a sad change in circumstances in his previous home, and he’s now hoping to find a special home to call his own again.
At 11 years old, Sparky is looking for someone who sees the beauty in taking on an older dog and understands just how much love, companionship and affection they can bring. He absolutely loves being around his people and still enjoys getting out and about for his leisurely, sniffy walks. He’s also happy to join other walks alongside calm, friendly dogs.
Sparky has never lived with another dog before. Although he is sociable around other dogs, he can sometimes be quite uninterested in their company. We feel he’d be much happier having all the home comforts and attention to himself, so he is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. No cats, please!
He could potentially live with older children aged 15 years and upwards, he still loves to play with his toys and have a good play with his handlers!
Don’t let his age fool you, though! Sparky is a real cheeky chap who still has plenty of enthusiasm, character and affection to share. It’s heartbreaking seeing him spending his days in a kennel when all he really wants is to be back in a home, enjoying the simple things in life with someone to love.
