Daisy’s story begins as a bit of a mystery. Found as a stray, she arrived in our care with no known history and a cautious on the world around her. It was clear she hadn’t yet learned that people could be kind, and for a little while she chose to watch life from a safe distance.
But Daisy is a brave little soul.
With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she slowly began to let her guard down. Day by day, her true personality started to shine through—and what a transformation it has been. The shy, uncertain girl has blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion with so much love to give.
Daisy can still be a little nervous when meeting new people, and she appreciates a calm, hands-off approach at first. She much prefers to make the first move herself, quietly coming over when she feels ready. Give her that space and understanding, and you’ll quickly see her confidence grow as she learns to trust. Once she does, she forms lovely bonds and shows just how sweet and loyal she really is.
She could happily live with children aged 15 years and over who have experience with dogs and understand the importance of giving her time to settle. Daisy may also be able to share her home with another dog, and we would be happy to explore finding her a suitable canine companion who matches her temperament.
Everyone who meets Daisy falls for her gentle nature and endearing personality—it’s hard not to. She has come such a long way already, and now she’s ready to find a patient, loving home where she can continue to flourish and truly feel safe.
