Our beautiful Jade really is a gem here at Danaher!
Her rocky past doesn't stop her from grasping each day with both paws and enjoying every moment! She is so full of joy, she is excited to see her handlers in the morning and will jump up for a cuddle without fail. She then loves to have a play in our back runs next to big boy Ric, her best friend where she will play bow and flirt with him through the bars!
Once the morning frivolity is done, Jade enjoys a long walk with one of our staff members or volunteers, walking on a loose lead and enjoying all the sniffs along the way!
Lastly at the end of the day Jade's cheeky side comes out and she plays hard to get when we need to shut her in for the night, so we have given up! She has her door open so she can come and go as she pleases, her hardy breed make-up meaning she is not bothered by the cooler nights and just enjoys being outside.
This is a day in the life of our loving but shy Jade! She is an anxious girl and takes time getting to know someone new. She is looking for a new family with the time and patience needed to take on a nervous Nellie, and not pressure her or expect results too quickly. Slowly slowly catchy monkey!
We know once someone has put in the time to really allow Jade to get to know them she will reward them by being the most loyal and loving companion you could ever wish for.
