Sweet little Stanley has had a rough start to his life and is so deserving of a second chance at a normal doggy life.
Stanley does like other dogs, he just very poorly socialised and as a result doesn’t know how to meet them or what to do when he sees them on a walk. We have been working with Stanley on and off site - so he does need on going management and training.
Because of this he is looking for a home in a quiet and less built up area where he can see fewer dogs initially to work on his reactions.
He is strong on the lead when around other dogs - but when it’s just you and him he walks calmly and sniffs everything around him, taking his time and enjoying the surroundings.
He is a sensitive boy and bonds closely to people - he loves lots of fuss and attention to strengthen bonds and to feel loved, safe and secure.
We aren’t sure just how much exposure he’s had to a house before - so his new family will need to anticipate a good settling in period and let him adjust and learn about his new home at his own pace with your support.
