Sweet little Stanley has had a rough start to his life and is so deserving of a second chance at a normal doggy life.
Stanley does like other dogs, he just very poorly socialised, Stanley has come such a long way with his training around dogs and we are now at the stage where he can walk alongside other dogs as well as be around an off lead dog and interact really well. It would still be benefical for Stanley to be in a quieter area with dogs but continued socialisation will really help him progress.
He is strong on the lead when around other dogs - but when it’s just you and him he walks calmly and sniffs everything around him, taking his time and enjoying the surroundings.
He is a sensitive boy and bonds closely to people - he loves lots of fuss and attention to strengthen bonds and to feel loved, safe and secure.
We aren’t sure just how much exposure he’s had to a house before - so his new family will need to anticipate a good settling in period and let him adjust and learn about his new home at his own pace with your support.
