Christopher’s journey hasn’t been an easy one.
When he first arrived with us, he had come from truly heartbreaking circumstances. He was emaciated, frightened, and unsure of the world around him. Everything was unfamiliar, and it was clear he hadn’t been shown the kindness he deserved. But even then, there was something special about him — a quiet resilience that never left his side.
With time, patience, and lots of care, Christopher has begun to blossom. The scared boy we first met is now growing into a confident, courageous dog who is starting to enjoy life the way every dog should. His weight gain journey is still ongoing, but he’s making steady progress, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come.
Now that his personality is shining through, it’s impossible not to fall in love. Christopher is full of charm and has so much affection to give. He absolutely loves being around people and enjoys meeting new faces — each interaction helping him build even more confidence.
Christopher is looking for a special home that understands him and his needs. Ideally, his new family will have experience with Cane Corsos or a strong understanding of the breed’s traits and characteristics. He can live with children aged 14 years and over, who can respect his space and continue building his trust.
At this stage in his assessment, Christopher will need to be the only dog in the home. He is very food-motivated and requires space around mealtimes, so a calm, structured environment will help him continue to thrive.
What Christopher truly deserves now is a family who will cherish him — one that will give him all the love, patience, and yes, a little spoiling, that he’s missed out on. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly loyal, loving companion who will make every day brighter.
