Success Story - Buster

Buster (formerly known as Chessum) arrived at Danaher back in February 2024 along with his eight littermates. As an adorable puppy, it didn't take him long to land on his paws and find his perfect forever home. Buster's new family got in touch a few months later to let us know how he's getting on...

"Buster was one of the 'Rugby Pups' and he came to live with us back in April.

On the first day, he was so exhausted he fell asleep sitting up and then woke himself up as he fell into his bed. From that moment, we knew he was going to be quite the character!

He instantly fell in love with his new big sister, Bessie (a 14 year old Basset Hound) and would snuggle up in her bed with her. He still tries to fit in there with her sometimes now!

Buster is very mischievous. He is always coming in from the garden with things he has found. He pokes his head round the door to show you what he's got, just to let you know and then runs back into the garden with a glint in his eyes! Luckily, he is very loving and sweet. He knows how to play us!

His greatest love is his tennis ball. He could play fetch 24 hours a day, I'm sure! He also loves long walks over the fields for a good old sniff around.

It's been a hectic few months since Buster came home. It's easy to forget the difficult puppy stage, but we would not be without him. He's really a part of our family and we wanted to say thank you for letting us give him a home.

Attached are some pics along the way, including a recent one of him looking smart after his Christmas groom."
