BUTTON UPDATE
"To the Danaher Team,
It has been just over 1 year since we adopted the senior Buttons and so I thought I would give an update.
Right from the minute we got home we knew she'd be trouble. She was on the kitchen countertops within the first 10 minutes. She is our senior chaos demon and has well earned her nickname "The Butt" but we wouldn't change her for the world.
She settled in really well and quite quickly but was chomping at the bit to get outside, so we built her a catio and then of course she was mad when we were doing things outside without her. She did a little exploring when she was finally free but now prefers to snooze by the french doors.
I'm still not convinced she's actually 15, she plays like a kitten, with no understanding of how her legs or feet work!
She likes to eat cobwebs, and will clean them off the walls for us.. only to throw them up later.
She demands snuggle time and we get cozy in bed before sleep. She licks my face and grooms my hair and chews on us for a variety of reasons. At least she learnt to put claws away. She is getting more and more comfortable with us and we almost saw her belly during a nap!
She purrs at the slightest bit of attention and her tail goes fluffy when she's happy.
We celebrated her birthday on New Year's and she had some fresh tuna. We also celebrated on her gotcha-versary, so she gets spoilt rotten.

Thank you to all the Danaher Team for looking after her until we came along 
here's to another 14 years of chaos! "
