We have a Meeme ((Isla) UPDATE!!
"We adopted Meeme as an 8 week old puppy in Mar 2024 after a friend shared your post with us. She was so tiny when she joined our gang but settled in righ away. Being a Spaniel/Collie cross she took to learning very easy, not only the basic skills to being a good pet but also to the new skills required for agility.
She ran her first competition Aug last year, and although she found the environment a bit overwhelming when walking around the rings her attitude and performance in the ring was excellent, maintaining her focus on the job at hand and was placed 3rd, not to bad on her first outing.
She has since gone from strength to strength in both training and competition having lots of successes, but also a lovely surprise being placed 5th in the RSPCA league of DARL a Dog Agility Rescue League, we are very proud of her.
Meeme is such a super dog to work with, lots of fun and brave, it is easy to forget that she is only 2 years old. We have so many more years of fun ahead of us.
