We adore getting updates, especially ones like these where Rascal has been in his forever home for FIVE years!
"I just wanted to drop a message as its coming up to 5 years of us having Rascal!
You guys thought he might be 5 when we rescued him, so it will be 5 years with him, five years without. I thought I'd mark the milestone with a little update. In the last five years we have actually moved up north to County Durham, we are so lucky to have endless fields and footpaths to explore with him right on our doorstep. Rascal has been all around the country, in search for waterfalls, sniffing the smells in cities and sleeping in tents and hotels on holiday.
He used to go to work everyday with Jason in his work van, but now I work from home so he eats his breakfast and goes back to bed all day . Every month brings new adventures and new grey hairs. Although it breaks our heart that our soon to be 10 year old boy is needing longer naps and even more cuddles, with each grey hair I'm reminded of what a blessing he is and what fun we have had over the years.
He snorts when he's being a grumpy old man, sneezes when he's happy and is always sitting on someone's lap. There is not a crumb un found, and a wrapper not nibbled when he's around. He still absolutely lives up to his name and we wouldn't have it any other way. He's changed our world as much as we changed his, thank you for letting us be his forever home."
I think we can all agree Rascal is living his best life!
