🎉We have an update on Poppy🎉

"We adopted Poppy from you in June 2023 at the age of 13 suffering from cancer and unable to walk more than 5 minutes a day. She settled in with us very quickly and started to walk further every day in our village and especially loved being off her lead in the fields around our house where she would break into a run if there was a prospect of a treat at the end!. Over the next year or so she came with us on short trips and especially enjoyed running on the sandy beaches of Suffolk and Norfolk with the wind blowing through her beautiful white coat. Meanwhile the cancer tumour on her leg was getting worse so she had to have an operation at the tender age of 14.in July 2024,, but fortunately a brilliant vet removed the lump and after a few weeks recuperation she was back to loving life!

Poppy now lives a happy, gentle life, meeting her doggy friends on her walks round the village, running around the fields and enjoying naps on the sofa and sunny spots in the garden. She has a little pushchair for longer walks when we go away and is always happy sitting in there getting lots of admiring glances and attention

She turns 16 on 17th April this year so will be celebrating with a sausage at out local pub where she's become well known. We never really anticipated adopting a dog but she is a beautiful, feisty little dog who's given us so many laughs and memories with hopefully many more to come."

Wow Poppy is really thriving! We absolutely love hearing updates, it makes our day🥰
