I wanted to share an update on Sugar and Spice (now Winnie and Ruby) that I adopted on 30th December 2024.
They are the sweetest little things! Ruby was so so timid in the shelter, and when I brought her home, spent the first couple of weeks hiding away reluctantly coming out for food only. I can happily confirm she is a lap cat, absolutely bonkers, and loves chasing lasers and ping pong balls!
Winnie settled in pretty quickly, loves her food, and spends all her time purring and contorting her body in any way necessary to sit on me.
They’ll remain inside the house for a couple more months, as they’re still skittish around other people and new noises, but they’re being spoilt rotten and quite content getting up to mischief inside!"
It's always a pleasure to see how our friends are getting on in their forever homes. We wish them all the luck in the world.
