FOZZY UPDATE 🥳
"A year ago today, we adopted Fozzy (then named Coco) and we thought you might like to know how he's getting on.
When he came to live with us, Fozzy found it hard to settle and adjust to his new environment. Although he was 16 months old, he behaved like a young puppy and so we went 'back to basics' with his training. He learned very quickly and, after 2 months, was settled enough to start training with a pet gundog trainer. He has made huge progress and now walks calmly on a lead, both on his own and with other dogs, responds to a recall whistle and loves retrieve and 'hunting' games.
At home, Fozzy is a gentle, funny, loving companion. He loves to play but is also happy snoozing on the sofa. He likes long, sniffy walks, particularly if they include a paddle in the local stream but he also loves meeting other dogs and people, so enjoys going to cafes and pubs. Next month, we're taking Fozzy on holiday for the first time and we're looking forward to introducing him to the beach and the sea.
We are so grateful that we were chosen to adopt Fozzy. He has made so much progress over the last year and we've learned a lot too! Thank you for helping him become part of our family"
We all miss Fozzy so much, he is such a handsome boy and he really has landed himself the perfect home🥰
